Marc Angélil

Marc Angélil studied architecture at ETH Zurich where he also completed his doctoral dissertation summa cum laude. He taught at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University and subsequently at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He is currently Professor at the Department of Architecture of the ETH Zurich and member of the Network City and Landscape. He has published several books, including “Deviations – A Manual“ on methods of teaching, “Indizien“ on the political economy of contemporary urban territories, and “Cidade de Deus! City of God!” on urban poverty in Brazil. Marc Angélil is a fellow of the Bund Schweizer Architekten (BSA) and board member of the LafargeHolcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction.
