99¢ space
adaptive reuse of horse barn with minimum means
2016–2018
Refugio Road Ranch is a 10 acre horse and agricultural ranch. Abandoned for several years, the property had dilapidated equestrian facilities and 2 worker trailers but no house nor working utilities. Phase 1 involved rebuilding the farm facilities and planting food gardens. This included renovating a barn into agricultural storage / workshop through minimum means –what we are calling a 99 Cent Space.
